Reward-Dreams Stolen

Imagine if we could put a reward on the dreams we've had stolen! If you had to put a value on the dreams you've had stolen by others, what would it be?
We all dream and anyone who says they don't is either not breathing or has everything in life they need for. Even the richest of the rich still dream, and I am not just talking materialistic crap here, I mean real meaning stuff. Bill Gates, one of the richest men alive, still dreams up ideas that can help others.
His latest is to use chickens to alleviate poverty. Coop Dreams is a short trivia game all about poultry. When players answer the questions correctly, the Gates Foundation—which has partnered with Heifer International in this latest venture—will donate a flock of chickens to a family living in sub-Saharan Africa. Now I am sure he had his fair of nay-sayers, "what an absurd idea, this man's gone cookoo", but a man like Bill Gates has dreams that will only ever be stolen by facts and not opinions of others. If he wants a dream to come to fruition he will chase that dream down and either make it happen, or give it his dam best and let the efforts of his attempts be the judge and jury of his dream.
How often do we let the opinions of others steal our dreams, take and suck the life out of our ideas, hopes, and ambition that burns inside us, waiting to shine a light on the world. When was the last time you said to yourself, "you know what, I will make this happen, I will go into business for myself, I will get that promotion, I will ask her out on a date, I will take 12 months off work and travel the world and write my blog, I will, I will, I will". And when you decide to say I will to yourself your saying I can to your dreams.
If your spending all your time dreaming, only to be thinking about what others will think, well I am here to tell you, that is what it will always be, a dream!
Nelson Mandela was a man with a dream, 'I dream of an Africa which is in peace with itself” – Nelson Mandela. This is a man who lead a life of always believing in his dream, he is one of the truly global heroes of our age. Nothing, noone or anything stopped him in pursuit of his dream, of a prosperous and unified future for the people of South Africa.
Today, South Africans are still striving to ‘live together’ in the fullest sense, but are so much closer to that ideal because Nelson Mandela and so many others believed in the promise of one South Africa.
If there was a person to use as a role model for never giving up on your dreams, despite all the challenges, Nelson Mandela is certainly one to consider The people who want to keep you safe and not allow you to stretch beyond comfort zones, the knockers, the ones who say that won't work, you'll never make it and that's been tried before and the list goes on.
The reward for stolen dreams has a value higher than any money could buy, the value of YOU, no amount of money can replace stolen dreams. If your chasing a dream and that's all you appear to be doing is chasing it like a passing taxi, isn't it about time you haled down your taxi of dreams and started putting yourself in the drivers seat.
To the dreamers, "a dream is only a dream, it's not until we take action to transition and then transformation we start living out our dreams".
It always seems impossible until it's done. Nelson Mandela
